Request deletion of your personal data

Option 1: Delete Data In-App

Recommended

You can delete all your data directly from the EZer app:

  1. 1 Open EZer app on your device
  2. 2 Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account
  3. 3 Review what will be deleted
  4. 4 Tap "Delete All Data"
  5. 5 Confirm by entering your PIN or using biometric authentication

Important

Deleting your data in-app is immediate and permanent. This action cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

  • All financial transactions and records
  • Account information
  • Budget and goal data
  • Scanned receipts and images
  • App preferences and settings
  • Local encrypted database

NOT Deleted Automatically

  • Cloud backups in Google Drive
  • Exported files saved to device

You must delete these separately from Google Drive.

Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app or need assistance, request deletion via email:

Frequently Asked Questions

Will deleting data in-app also delete my cloud backups?

No. Cloud backups are stored in your Google Drive and must be deleted separately from Google Drive.

Can I recover my data after deletion?

No. Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have cloud backups and haven't deleted them, you can restore from those backups.

What happens if I just uninstall the app?

Uninstalling removes all local data from your device. Cloud backups remain in your Google Drive. If you reinstall EZer and sign in with the same Google account, you can restore from cloud backups.

Does EZer keep any data on its servers after I delete my account?

EZer is a local-first app. We don't store your financial data on our servers. All your data is stored locally on your device or in your personal Google Drive (if you enabled cloud backup).

How do I export my data before deleting?

Before deleting, go to Settings → Data & Export. Export your data in CSV, JSON, Excel, or PDF format. Save the exported files to your device.
